I came across a photography exhibition on the Guardian online to do with ‘celebrating the opportunities, achievement and aspirations of older people’ through photography. The work was produced by secondary school pupils who entered into a competition, photographers from The Prince’s Trust, RSVP, Independent Age and current students at the time of the London College of Communication.

I was really struck by the first set of images I saw of an elderly man pulling funny faces, which made me smile as he is old but shows how he can still have fun.

All the photographs from this exhibition relate to the ageing population and showing how although these people are old they can still have fun, I think this is what attracted me to these images.
