I have found a series of child Disney stars who have developed from their innocent child images into ‘scandalous’ adult stars. All these images below are  former Disney products…they were all child stars who all have taken some sort of turn for the worst, or had a breakdown at some point. When looking through all these I started to think maybe it is all this pressure that was put on them since being so young, they are being treated like adults where their salary may be more than their parents at that time…what a pressuring situation to be in at such a young age!

A lot of these starts have at some point been arrest or been in trouble with the law but they also keep running into the same things, for example Britney Spears…but she is still such a huge role model with the younger generation as well as the generation who grew up with her! why is this?

A comment factor between two of these celebrators is their managers…Larry Rudolph.

But who is Larry Rudolph?

The New York-born manager was an entertainment lawyer before becoming an entrepreneur and manager.

He is the founder of Reign Deer Entertainment, the company which produced the movie Crossroads and two reality series: Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, and There and Back.

The 50-year-old has represented a host of artists such as Avril Lavigne, Ashley Parker Angel, Justin Timberlake, 98 Degrees, Nick Lachey, Backstreet Boys, Jessica Simpson, O-Town, Toni Braxton, Brooke Hogan, and DMX.

Although his methods for revitalising celebrity careers have often come into question, he is credited for propelling Britney Spears to fame.

He worked with the Hit Me baby One More Time singer at the start if her music career and was rehired by her father during her public meltdown .

Although Larry claims that this is all of Mileys ideas and wanting to do all of these crazy actions that she has been doing…it is a bit suspicious that they both Britney and Miley have had the same manager and have both broken out of their Disney shell!

“By stripping to her flesh-toned latex underwear and gyrating suggestively on a very married Robin Thicke, she confirmed what the world had long suspected – her Hannah Montana days are well and truly over.

And as Cyrus continues to employ shock tactics and sexualisation to aid her public reinvention,  some observers will experience a sense of déjà vu.

Just twelve years ago, it was Britney Spears who was desperate to strip herself of her Disney roots and become a global icon and pin up.

And just as Larry Rudolph helped Spears achieve her goal, he has reportedly been hired to manage Cyrus and resurrect the career of the 20-year-old child star-turned-twerking queen.

According to industry experts, the writing was on the wall from the moment the Wrecking Ball hitmaker fired her team and put Rudolph at the helm.

Rudolph, best known for presiding over Spears’ transformation from wholesome role model to sex kitten at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, started working with Cyrus in March, co-managing the young star with her mother, Tish.”

I have just ready an article on ‘7 Reasons Child Stars Go Crazy (An Insider’s Perspective)’ by Mara Willson who was a child actor herself where she stared in a few movies. She writes about why child stars actually go crazier once they grow up.

It was generally a good experience, but every day I’m glad I wasn’t Olsen twins famous. Not many child stars make it out of Hollywood alive or sane, and at any given time there are at least three former ones having very public breakdowns.

7. Their parents won’t help them

6. …or they parents can’t help them

5. They get used to love and attention, and then lose it

4. They have been sexually exploited

3. They need to rebel, but can’t

2. They don’t know what else to do

1. They can’t escape it

Mara explain all of these in more detail (you can check this out on the website). Now these points have been broken down by someone who has managed to get out being a child star and as a ‘normal’ ‘sane’ adult she explains how and why child starts have bran downs or go a bit crazy once they grow up. All these 7 points make sense if you really think about them.

Point number 7 and 6 about their parents not wanting to help and not being able to help is actually quite sad. I can image parents forcing their kids into this and making them stay in the business as they can see all the money they are earning at such a young age…they must think, what will they be earning in X amount of years?! I do think that parents get just as fame hungry if not more than their child stars. It is quite sad to actually think about what they are putting their young kid through not only at the time when their so young but what they are always gong to have to live with, they will never live a ‘normal’ life.

Point number 5 ‘They get used to love and attention, and then lose it’ I can imagine this to be one of the bigger issues when it comes to stars and being fame hungry! People will do anything to get back into the lime light weather it be good or bad press. Like many people say … bad press is always good press! A prime example of this is the Adrienne Bailon photo scandal!

Remember all those crazy stories about Adrienne Bailon‘s stolen nude photos starring Adrienne Bailon’s giant nude ass? Well apparently that ass belongs to someone else, as this whole thing was just a PR stunt.

It is actually quite shocking to think people would really do this just to gain more publicity…having naked photos leaked of yourself is exactly what you dont want when you are famous as this could be so harmful to your career so to go to those extremes just to be seen in the lime light again is ludicrous!
